PAPER SELECTION, PEER REVIEW AND PUBLICATION PROCESS
a) Submission acknowledgement: When you submit a manuscript online you will receive a submission acknowledgement letter sent by the editor in chief.
b) Basic Review: The editor determines whether the manuscript fits the journal’ s focus and scope.
c) Peer Review: The journal’s policy is to have manuscripts reviewed by two expert reviewers. This reviewers may be from the Editorial Board - Executive Peer Reviewers or Ad-Hoc Reviewers.
The review process may take two – ten weeks.
Sportif Bakış utilizes a double-blind peer review process in which the reviewer and authors’ names and information are withheld from the other.
The Editor or members of the Editorial Board may occasionally submit their own manuscripts for possible publication in the journal. In these cases, the peer review process will be managed by alternative members of the Board and the submitting Editor / Board member will have no involvement in the decision-making process.
d) Notification of the Result of Review: The result of review will be sent to the corresponding author. The authors and readers will be notified and invited to visit our website for the newly published articles.
